Visitors may donate on FFAL’s payment platform (donate.foundationforafricanleadership.org). This secure payment system is provided by FFAL and its third party Service Providers. FFAL may update these terms from time to time and any changes will be effective immediately on being set out here. Please ensure you are aware of the current terms.
Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and FFAL’s Privacy Policy carefully before using the online payment platform. By using the online payment platform on this website you have expressly indicated that you have accepted these terms and FFAL’s Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these terms and FFAL’s Privacy Policy you should not use this online payment platform.
All payments are subject to the following conditions:
It is important that care is taken when using the online payment platform to ensure that you provide the correct information. To facilitate you in providing accurate information, the payment system requests that you confirm correctness of data prior to proceeding to the next step. Your credit/debit card will be debited once payment is approved.
FFAL cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching FFAL due to you quoting incorrect card details or personal details or invoice number. Neither can FFAL accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason. You will still incur a nominal processing charge even if the payment does not reach FFAL.
Security
All payment details which are entered through this secure payment gateway are encrypted when you, or the third party making payment, enters them. Communications to and from the service provider’s site are encrypted. FFAL shall not be liable for any failure by you or the third party making payment of fees to properly protect data from being seen on their screen by other persons or otherwise obtained by such persons, during the online payment process or in respect of any omission to provide accurate information in the course of the online payment process.
You must keep your account details safe
If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.
We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your user identification code or password, you must promptly notify us at donate.foundationforafricanleadership.org
Service Provider
Online payments of fees can be made by credit or debit card. These payments are collected by the Service Provider on behalf of FFAL. The transaction is received and validated by the Service Provider (CIM Finance). The customer making the application will get an immediate notification to confirm whether or not the card validation was successful. The funds will be transferred from your account.
Refund Policy
After payment, any refunds will be made in accordance with FFAL’s refund policy.
